Kristín Pétursdóttir

Chairman of the Board

Kristín Pétursdóttir graduated from the University of Iceland in 1991, Cand Ocean. In 1993 she completed MBA from the Bergen Business School. Kristín was another founding member of Auður Capital and served as CEO of that company from 2007 to 2013 and as Chairman of the Board from 2013-2017 (later Virðing hf. ). She was the CEO of Mentor hf. 2015-2017, Chief Financial Officer of Kaupthing Bank from 1997-2005 and Deputy Managing Director of Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander from 2005-2007. In 1993-1997 Kristín worked for Statoil, Íslandsbanki and Skeljungur. Kristin has served on the Board of Directors of Ölgerðin, Tal, Yggdrasils, Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander, Chamber of Commerce, Federation of Employers and the Federation of Financial Undertakings.

Guðmundur Þórðarson

Guðmundur Þórðarson graduated from the University of Iceland with a business degree, Cand Oecon in 1997 and is a certified broker. Guðmundur has been managing his own investments since 2007, before he worked in the financial sector from 1997. He served as Managing Director of Corporate Finance at Straumur Investment Bank from 2003 and prior to that he served at Íslandsbanki, in Development and later in Corporate Finance, and at Landsbréf in Asset Management. 

Inga Björg Hjaltadóttir

Inga Björg Hjaltadóttir graduated from the University of Iceland in 1995 with a law degree and was admitted to the bar as a District Court Attorney in 2003. She is a partner at Acta Law Firm and Attentus Human Resources and Consultants, and has been a lecturer at Bifröst University and Reykjavik University. Inga Björg was a department lawyer at the City of Reykjavík's Office of Human Resources from 1996 to 1999 and served as Director of Human Resources in 1999. Thereafter, she was Director of Career Development at Eimskip Iceland (1999-2003) and worked at DP Law Firm (2003-2006). Inga Björg has been a board member at Límtré Vírnet, E-Farice, and Smellinn. She was an alternate member of the Icelandic Labour Court appointed by the Ministry of Finance from 2006 to 2010 and has served as a Labour Court Judge since 2011. 

Hrönn Sveinsdóttir

Hrönn Sveinsdóttir graduated from the University of Iceland with a Cand. Oecon in 1992.  Hrönn joined Vodafone Iceland (Fjarskipti hf.) in 2005 and serves as Managing Director of Finance and Operations. Before joining Vodafone Hrönn worked for Toyota Iceland (P. Samúelsson hf.) from 1992, starting as Head of Finance and Accounting and later taking on the role of Managing Director of Finance and Human Resources from 1999. Hrönn has served on the board of various firms among which Almenni lífeyrissjóðurinn, Húsasmiðjan, Farice and P/F Kall in Faroe Islands.

Kristín Guðmundsdóttir

Kristín Guðmundsdóttir graduated with a business degree, cand. oecon., from the University of Iceland. Kristín is managing director of KG slf. Kristín was the CEO of Skipti hf. in 2011 and before that, from 2003 to 2010, she was the Chief Financial Officer of Síminn hf. and Skipti hf. and the Chief Financial Officer of Grandi hf. from 1994 to 2002. Kristín also worked as a Director at Íslandsbanki and Iðnaðarbanki Íslands for a number of years. She was Chairman of the Board of Sparisjóður Vestmannaeyja from 2011 to 2013 and served on the Board of Míla ehf. from 2007 to 2011 and served as Chairman of the board in 2011. Kristin served on the board of Síminn hf. from 2007 to 2011. Furthermore, Kristín has previously served on the boards of Skjá miðlar ehf., Fasteignafélagið Jörfi ehf., the Reykjavik Maritime Museum, Farsímagreiðslur ehf., Straumur hf., the Iceland Chamber of Commerce, Nasdaq verðbréfamiðstöð hf. and Lífeyrissjóður verkstjóra. She has served on the board of Festi hf. (N1 hf.) from 2011, Farice ehf. from 2013, Golf Union of Iceland from 2013 and RVK Studios ehf. from 2015. Kristín served on the Board of Directors of Kvika hf. from 2015 – 2016 and been an alternate board member since 2016. Kristín has been a member of the Investment Council at Eyrir sproti slhf. from 2015. Kristín sat on the Board of Straumur fjárfestingabanki from 2013 to 2015 and served as Vice Chairman from 2013 to 2014. Kristín is the chairman of Kvika’s Audit Committee and Risk Committee.

Guðjón Reynisson

Guðjón Reynisson graduated from the University of Iceland in 2002 with an MBA, he completed his business degree from the University of Iceland in 1999 and graduated with a sports teacher's degree in 1986 from the Sports Education School of Iceland. Guðjón is now an independent investor. In 2008-2017 he served as CEO of Hamleys of London where he implemented the company's expanding strategy growing nationally from one store in to a chain of stores. Guðjón led the sale of the company in 2011-12 and again in 2015-16. In 2003-2007. Guðjón entered the position of Managing Director for the 10-11 stores in Iceland. Before that, from 1998-2003, he was the managing director of Tal. Guðjón has served on the board of Festi hf. holding company from 2014.

Albert Þór Jónsson

Albert Þór Jónsson graduated with a business degree, cand. oecon., from the University of Iceland and has an MCF degree in corporate finance. Albert works independently in finance and has worked in finance in various institutions since 1986. He worked as a managing director at FL Group Investment Company from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that he worked at LSR – State Pension Fund from 2001 to 2005, Fjárvangur from 1998 to 2000, Landsbref securities from 1990 to 1998 and Glitnir leasing company  from 1986 to1990. He has served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Reginn hf., real estate company, since 2015. He is also a member of the Audit Committee of Reginn hf.
