Emphasis is placed on respecting human rights in the bank’s operations. Kvika meets statutory requirements for the protection of human rights. Kvika has adopted a Code of Conduct for Suppliers, aimed at expanding the chain of responsibility in the bank’s activities. The Code´s objective is to ensure that Kvika´s suppliers take ESG factors into consideration in their business operations, as well as respect of human rights.                

Kvika has adopted a policy on human resources and  equality, which states that in determining wages no discrimination based on gender, race, ethnicity, religion, age, or other irrelevant factors can be allowed. Women and men shall receive equal pay and enjoy the same terms of employment for the same or equally valuable work. To follow up on this, Kvika has established, documented and implemented, an equal pay system and has obtained equal pay certification.
